1 Comment Cabin Fever Pork Stew
Sing along if you know the words. When the weather outside is frightenin’…
And the feral cats are hungry…
Then it’s time for a one pan stew…
Hmmm, it’s entirely possible I didn’t recall the words aright, ah well. Step one: Prep your ingredients.
Pork steak 1 1/2 lb.
1 medium Onion, coarse chopped
6 heads Garlic, rough chopped
1 medium Turnip, chopped 1/2″
1/4 head Cabbage, chopped 1/2″
1 Tbls fresh Thyme
1 cup Beef stock
1 cup Chicken stock
1 8oz. can chopped tomatoes
2 Tbls Garlic cream
Season your Pork Steak generously with salt and pepper and sear…
Get a good crust…
Add a couple slices of bacon, cook til crisp and remove. Add garlic and onions, sautee until translucent…
Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for twenty minutes, half an hour. Reduce heat and simmer for two hours-ish until done.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream, enjoy!
